Chicken barns next to an elementary school

1 neighbours have signed

What's happening

A large-scale poultry operation has been proposed on land directly beside a Township elementary school. Neighbours are worried about air quality, truck traffic on a school route, and what this means for kids who spend their day just metres away.

What we're asking for

Ask Township council to require a proper buffer between intensive livestock barns and schools, and to hold a public hearing before any permit is issued.
